Data We Handle

• Highlighted Text: Processed locally when you highlight text to create shareable links.
• Pins: Saved locally in browser storage for persistent access.

Browser Permissions

Pinpoint Pro uses the following permissions solely for its functionality:

• storage: Saves pins locally for your access across sessions.
• clipboardRead: Copies highlighted text to the clipboard when you create a pin or shareable link.
• host_permissions (<all_urls>): Enables text highlighting and link creation on any webpage you visit.

These permissions do not access data beyond what’s required for pin management and link sharing.

Changes

We’ll notify you via the extension if this policy updates due to new features requiring additional data.
